In this short video, Mike Frantl of Engage talks about the some of the critical issues in building a successful employee engagement program. He cites the importance of having senior buy-in to any employee experience initiative. This is to ensure that once results are made available there is the support in place to underpin any business change that takes place as a result.

Mike also offers advice to any company setting out on the path to deliver a successful employee experience program. He suggests that it is critical to ensure that businesses are measuring the right things, and not using an off-the-shelf employee survey which doesn’t match the company’s situation. He recommends that HR teams work with senior leaders, key stakeholders, and a cross-section of employees to understand what truly underpins employee engagement at their business and build a program to focus on these critical elements.
