Hard though it is to believe, we’re already into February of the new year! For Confirmit, the start of 2016 is particularly exciting as it marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of the company. More of that later – first, a quick look back at 2015.
Each year I’m delighted to be able to look back on a successful 12 months behind us, and this year is no exception. 2015 marked some significant milestones in our growth, with a range of activities – from product developments and enhancements to extending our global reach to new areas. While all of these areas spell success for Confirmit, the rationale for everything we do is to enable our customers to gain more from our solutions and help drive their businesses forward.
Our expansion into the Asia Pacific market was a significant landmark last year. The acquisition of our long-term reseller, IRM, brought a new Confirmit office to Sydney to help us meet the needs of this expanding market. Speaking of expanding, we’ve more than doubled the number of team members in the office and with some exciting new companies making use of our products and services, this is certainly going to be an area to watch over the coming months.
We’re continuing to work with customers and experts across the Voice of the Customer and Market Research industries and I’m thrilled that we – and our customers – have been recognized by leading industry analysts and publications. Furthermore, we heard from over 1300 Market Researchers who shared their views on the key issues in the MR industry as part of our “What Type of Market Researcher Are You?” program which also provided some fascinating insights into the future of Market Research – a topic we’ve also covered at several of our highly recommended events.
Exceptional as 2015 was, it’s time to look to the future. I have every expectation that our 20th year will be our best ever. We’ll be marking the anniversary with events around the world and I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us to raise a glass to the last 20 years – and to the next 20. It’s been a remarkable journey from our beginnings of a handful of employees in a small office in Oslo to hundreds of employees in close to a dozen offices around the world. I’m proud of the way we’ve managed to retain our focus on what matters most to us – looking after our customers by providing them with the best products on the market.
