Earlier this week we announced the winners of our 20 Young Market Researchers awards. This is the first time we’ve run such a program and it was fabulous to see the level of excitement and enthusiasm of our winners. One of our judges, Jon Puleston, Vice President of Innovation at Lightspeed commented on the judging process and summed it up rather nicely:

"Judging these awards was a fascinating experience. The quality and range of young talent in the Market Research industry today is truly impressive and it was great to get a sense of the level of enthusiasm of the nominees and to learn about the fresh ideas that they are picking up and running with. I'm looking forward to seeing what impact they have on the industry over the coming years."

At Confirmit, we’re constantly looking for new ways to deliver technology and solutions that support Market Research. Our R&D and Product Management teams are adding new innovations to our platform all the time, so it’s very fitting that as well as focusing on the technology that will underpin the future of the industry, we recognize the people who will make up that future.

What really stood out as we worked through the submissions from young MR professionals around the world (our 20 winners covered 8 countries!) was the range of different disciplines that they were focused on. Anyone who may have thought that Market Research is no longer evolving or innovating in the way it used to would certainly have an argument on their hands if they were speaking to any of our winners! From technology in MR, the delivery of insights to customers, big data and the role of emotion in research, not to mention ways to run focus groups for children and engaging Millennials – there is a lot to learn from this group.

And learn we shall! Each of our winners will be blogging for us over the coming months to share their views and ideas on the future and the challenges that Market Research faces. We’re really looking forward to hearing more from them. Stay tuned to the blog or follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook to find their blogs.

We have no doubt that we have found 20 young people who will have a big impact on the future of Market Research. We’re delighted to be part of what will be some very innovative and successful careers.

Congratulations once again to our winners!
