Confirmit’s New CEO Sets Out Vision for the Future

Confirmit today announced that Ken Østreng, the company’s former Chief Financial Officer, officially transitioned into the role of President and Chief Executive Officer effective April 1, 2017. Østreng has outlined the future direction for the company under his new leadership, confirming his focus on ensuring Confirmit continues to deliver world-class solutions for Voice of the Customer, Voice of the Employee and Market Research.

Østreng explains “Confirmit has enjoyed incredible success since our launch just over 20 years ago and I am committed to growing that success. We have an extraordinary team delivering ongoing technological innovations, supported by a rapidly expanding services and consulting organization that ensures our customers can get the most from our software. This background, combined with a very solid financial foundation means that, for me, the aim for the coming years is evolution, not revolution.”

Ken Østreng joined Confirmit as CFO in December 2005 and has 25 years of experience in the IT industry where he has held senior positions in both listed and privately held companies. His long history with the company and close working relationship with former CEO, Henning Hansen, is key to ensuring a smoother transition process.

“Confirmit's purpose is to provide Market Researchers and customer experience professionals the insights and control to do the right thing for their customers and colleagues, helping them identify and solve the issues that stop them and their organizations from succeeding” adds Østreng, “Confirmit’s future direction is guided by this mission of empowering everyone, providing the focus for the development of our technology and service solutions.”

Confirmit’s President and CEO of 11 years, Henning Hansen announced that he would be stepping down from the role in January.
