Open Architecture Survey Software

Confirmit has an open architecture that enables interaction with other strategic business systems, allowing you to develop sophisticated project- and enterprise-wide processes.

As well as integration with internal business systems, you can use the platform to import third-party data—such as data from your Web site, HR, CRM, or financial systems—then integrate it with your Confirmit survey data for broader analysis and reporting.

Further integration opportunities are available through the platform’s range of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). These facilitate the transfer of data using XML Web Services and enable you to build value-added applications on top of Confirmit.

This model makes Confirmit ideal for a wide range of enterprise-wide research and feedback programs that gather information from multiple business activities, respondent groups, and departments.

Confirmit is a modular platform that features a core survey engine and authoring module and a range of add-on modules for collecting data or feedback, panel management, data processing, and reporting and analysis.

The diagram above outlines the key modules of Confirmit, further details of which can be found in our product pages.

Confirmit APIs provide a platform-independent means of automating your business processes. They allow you to improve the quality of your distributed information systems while decreasing the time it takes to develop them.

Confirmit features five core APIs, as follows:

  • Authoring—makes it possible to design questionnaires outside of Confirmit and then add the survey definitions to Confirmit once this has been done. Particularly useful for converting existing survey definitions into Confirmit projects, and for building proprietary tools for experimental survey design.
  • CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing)—reduces management time by automating typical CAPI management operations, or integrating them with third party systems.
  • Data Transfer—removes the labor-intensive process of manually preparing files for transfer. Particularly useful for routine processes, saving companies considerable amounts of time and freeing up staff for other activities.
  • Panel—extends the functionality of the core panel system and enables customization.
  • Reporting— saves time by automating the production of tables for use in Reportal reports.

Using these APIs, your organization has the ability to leverage the services and functionality of Confirmit for external systems, and integrate Confirmit with other applications. As a result, you can extend the functionality of the Confirmit platform to suit the specific needs of your business.
