Activity logs

Express Monitor	The Express Monitor under "Activity logs" in the administration menu allows server administrators to monitor page hits, errors and page load times in Express.
Community Portal Monitor	The Community Portal Monitor under "Activity logs" in the administration menu allows server administrators to monitor page hits, errors and page load times in Community Portals.
Survey monitor: New "Group by Company" option	In Survey Monitor under "Activity logs" in the administration menu, it is now possible to group by company.
System activity: Several new activity types	Several new activity types are logged and will be available in System Activity under "Activity logs" in the administration menu: - failed_login - account_locked - new_user - update_user - delete_user - new_company - update_company - delete_company - update_cfg_setting - update_batch_server_config - change_password
Show description in results in System Activity	In System Activity under "Activity logs" in the administration menu, administrators can now show Description in the activity results. This will present a detailed description of what was done.

ConfirmitAdmin.exe

Mass Survey Export and Import	The ConfirmitAdmin tool has been extended with the ability to import and export a set of surveys.
Community Portal Export and Import	The ConfirmitAdmin tool has been extended with the ability to import and export Community Portals.
Bulk change project permissions	It is now possible to set project permissions for several users in one operation with the ConfirmitAdmin tool.

Configuration settings

MaxBitStream Increments	Sets the maximum number of incremental updates of BitStream files before a full rebuild is required. Zero, which is the default value, means "unlimited".
New/Changed BitStream config settings	Site/System wide: BitStreamURL: removed, will be added to settings for each BitStreamServer instance instead. BitStreamWritePath: new textbox, indicates where bitstream files are to be written (same location for every service instance). BitStreamServer instance: BitStreamReadPath: (Name has changed from BitStreamPath). This indicates where the files are read from. BitStreamURL: new textbox, the URL used to communicate with the service. BitStreamRead: new checkbox, indicates that BitStream Service can be used for reading files (handle queries). BitStreamWrite: new checkbox, indicates that BitStream Service can be used for generating files.
MaxConcurrentThreads	Specifies the number of concurrent threads that can run on one server. Default value is 1. Currently only used by BitStream service.
SurveyPageCPULimit	In the survey engine, this setting controls the number of milliseconds of CPU time allowed by a survey request. The default value is 2000 ms CPU time. If the safety value is exceeded the request will be aborted.
DumpBitStreamToFile	For Community Panel, this setting enables dumping to disk of the bitstream files used for Concurrent Sampling.
ExpressUser ActivationDisabled	Some Confirmit on-premise servers use LDAP for user administration. In such cases, the activation system used by Confirmit Express, where users receive an email with a link to choose their passwords, becomes redundant. A new site configuration setting is therefore added, ExpressUserActivationDisabled. When selected, the entire activation workflow for express users is switched off, and no references to user activation/activation status will be seen on the system (e.g. at the user list, user details and company management pages); all express users will be automatically treated as “active” and will be given access to Confirmit Express, irrespective of the activation status they have in the database (this column will be ignored).
New Community Panel Reporting config settings	Site/System wide: AnalysisServerSharedCubePath: The equivalent shared path to the AnalysisServerLocalCubePath. AnalysisServerLocalCubePath: The root path to where the MS Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes are stored. This is a local path on the server that runs the SSAS. AnalysisServerName: The name of the MS Analysis Services Server (SSAS). ReportServerUrl: The url used to communicate with the MS Reporting Services Server (SSRS). ReportServerAdminUser: Username of the Confirmit user who is the SSRS report administrator. ReportServerReportBuilderEnabled: Indicates if the Community Panel Report Builder application is enabled.

Accounts management

Admin - Accounts - Companies: Comment field	On company administration, a new comment field makes it possible to add comments concerning the company.
New permission, SYSTEM_CLEAR_ PRODUCTION_DATA	A new permission controls whether or not people should be able to use the "Clear Data" option in Authoring against the production database: SYSTEM_CLEAR_PRODUCTION_DATA Users without this permission will get a "Permission Denied" message when attempting to "Clear Data" for a production database. Access to clear data from the test database does not require this permission. System administrators do not need this permission. This permission will be part of the Normal role.
New permission: SYSTEM_ANALYSIS_ SERVICES_ACCESS	Grants the user access to Analysis Services functionallity; Community Panel - Cube Management. (add-on)
New permission: SYSTEM_REPORTING_ SERVICES_ACCESS	Grants the user access to Reporting Services functionallity; Community Panel - Reporting. (add-on)

Accounts management

New task: Task System Cleanup

A new task is introduced to delete all temporary files that have not been used in the past 2 days from all batch servers.
